Privacy policy
This page explains what data we collect through yavren.com, why we collect it and how to exercise your rights. In brief: the website does not set cookies or store data — we receive only the emails you choose to send us.
Data controller
Personal data collected through yavren.com is processed by YAVREN, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS).
- 78 avenue des Champs-Élysées, Bureau 326, 75008 Paris, France
- SIRET: 108 367 863 00017 — RCS Paris 108 367 863
- Contact: contact@yavren.com
YAVREN has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as this is not mandatory given its activity. Questions about your data may be sent to the address above.
Data collected
The website provides a contact form that prepares an email in your email app. The information involved is:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your company name (optional);
- the content of your message.
The website itself does not store any of this information: the form opens your email app with a pre-filled email, which you can choose to send or not. We receive the data only if you send that email. No browsing data is otherwise collected.
Purposes and legal bases
Your data is used for two purposes:
- Responding to your enquiries (questions, projects, acquisition proposals) — based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries addressed to us;
- Keeping you informed about our app launches — only if you have requested this, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
Recipients and processors
Received messages are accessible only to the YAVREN team. They are not sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Our email service is operated by Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd), which hosts emails received at contact@yavren.com as a data processor.
Hosting and transfers outside the EU
The yavren.com website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). As the website does not store personal data, this hosting covers only the website’s content.
Our service providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft) may transfer certain data to countries outside the European Union, including the United States. These transfers are covered by safeguards recognised under European regulations (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
Retention period
Messages received through the contact form are retained for a maximum of 3 years from the last exchange, then deleted. If an exchange leads to a contractual relationship, the related data is retained for the periods required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data;
- right to rectification: have inaccurate data corrected;
- right to erasure: request deletion of your data;
- right to restriction of processing;
- right to object to processing;
- right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.
Exercising your rights
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at contact@yavren.com and specify the purpose of your request. We will respond within one month. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask for supporting documentation.
Complaints to the CNIL
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or online at www.cnil.fr.
Cookies
The yavren.com website does not set cookies or use audience measurement or tracking tools. No consent banner is therefore required. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your consent obtained where required by law.
Updates
This privacy policy was last updated on 8 August 2026. It may change to reflect changes to the website or applicable regulations; the online version is authoritative.
